REPTILES - (Snakes, Lizards, Tortoise & Caiman)
The earliest known reptiles originated around 312 million years ago during the Carboniferous period and now inhabit every continent with the exception of Antarctica. The study of reptiles historically combined with amphibians, is called herpetology.

INVERTEBRATES - (Tarantulas, Scorpions, Millipedes Cockroaches & Centipedes)
For many centuries' invertebrates have been neglected by biologists, in favour of big vertebrates or charismatic species. Invertebrate biology was not a major field of study until the 18th century. During the 20th century invertebrate zoology became a major field of natural science, with discoveries in the fields of medicine, genetics and ecology.
AMPHIBIANS - (Frogs, Toads & Salamanders)
The first amphibians developed in the Devonian period, around 370 million years ago, from lobe-finned fish. These ancient lobe-finned fish had evolved multi-jointed leg-like fins with digits that enabled them to crawl along the sea bottom.
