Why not be a responsible pet owner and get a feel for what it takes to care for an exotic animal before you go out and buy / rescue one?

Our Introduction Into Responsible Exotic Pet Ownership is a practical training opportunity that provides an introduction into the captive care requirements and skills needed to care for a selection of exotic animal species that are commonly found within the UK pet trade. This course can be used to focus on the care needs of just one particular species,or be used to cover a range of species to give an insight into the differences between reptile, amphibian and invertebrate husbandry requirements.

This option also provides opportunities to practice practical skills such as handling

and restraint techniques in order to gain knowledge, experience and conference.

Even if you do not wish to ever care for an exotic animal this experience can still be a unique way to expand general knowledge about animals in captivity.

This course can include practical tasks with a selection of animals including snakes, lizards, toads, snails, tortoise, tarantulas, spiders, salamanders, scorpions and frogs.

Participants receive an EXO TEACH membership and are awarded with a

certificate of achievement stating the topics covered upon completion!

Choose what species you wish to learn about... Then pick three topics!

Exotic Animal Nutrition - (1-hour workshop)
