The safety of our animals comes before public enjoyment during all outreach sessions! If we arrive and your event environment is unsuitable for live animals, instructors may abort the booking. If our instructors leave an event due to ANY of the terms and conditions being broken, any event fees already paid will not be refunded.
By placing a booking you, the client, agree to the following terms and conditions.
1.1 Prices are subject to change without notice. Any bookings already taken will be charged at the agreed amount.
1.2 Bookings may require a 50% deposit payable at the time of booking.
1.3 All deposits are non-refundable. (Unless EXO TEACH cancels the booking).
1.4 If a deposit has been taken, all remaining fees are due to be paid on, or before, the date of the booked session. If EXO TEACH has not received the booking fee prior to arrival, and a cash payment has not been scheduled for the booking date, the session may be terminated.

1.6 Day rate equals a six-hour display. All-day rate bookings include a free 2 hour period used for travel, set up and dismantle time. However hourly events may include an extra fee for this period.
1.7 If an event is scheduled at the same location for more than one consecutive date (day rate our hourly rate), the travel, set up and dismantle fee will not be charged after the first day.
1.8 If a client cancels a booking within 48 hours of the session date, the full balance will still be payable and due by the date of the booked session.
1.9 All cheques must be issued to use at least 10 days prior to the session date. This is to ensure that funds have cleared before the booking date.
2.1 Due to a large amount of heavy equipment used in our display, we ask that a clear transport route to the event area is provided. We also ask that you locate the session in a room close to a transport drop off and pick up point. (Unless a large trolley can be provided).
2.2 During Key Stage 1 - 4 and college sessions, we insist that a member of staff from the establishment is in attendance at all times.
2.3 All sessions involving live animals MUST be held indoors (or under shelter), with access to at least 1 power source and 2 tables.
2.4 If a session has been pre-arranged to be held outdoors, a power source must be in-situ before we arrive.
2.5 Hygiene and safety rules set out at the beginning of each session must be adhered to by all in attendance.
2.6 Please ensure that the session area is big enough to safely accommodate our display, animals and any visitors that are expected to attend. Small rooms can hold major health & safety issues. Please ensure that that the space is big enough before we attend. If your event area is smaller than 12ft x 12ft please inform us when booking.
2.7 EXO TEACH does not take any responsibility for any injury caused by the handling of any live specimen. All animals are held at the individuals own risk.
2.8 It is the responsibility of the establishment/client (school, college, youth group) to obtain parental permission for students/children under 18 years old to handle animals.
