The safety of our animals comes before ALL public enjoyment during ALL all events! If we arrive and your event environment is unsuitable for live animals, instructors will abort the event. If our instructors leave your event due to any of the T&C being broken, the FULL event fee will still be due.
1.1 Prices are subject to change without notice. Any bookings already taken will be charged at the agreed amount.
1.2 Bookings maybe subject to a 50% deposit payable at the time of booking.
1.3 Deposits are none refundable. (Unless a problem accrues our end.)
1.4 All remaining charges are due by the date of the booked event. If you cancel within 7 days of the event date, then the full balance will still be payable.
1.5 Cheques must be issued to use at least 10 days prior to an event to ensure that funds clear before the event takes place.
1.6 If the event is canceled but rescheduled within 1 month of the cancellation date, 50% of the paid amount would be credited towards the revised booking.
2. Events / Activities:
2.1 Children must be at least 5 years old to participate in any hands on activities.
2.2 Due to the large amount of heavy equipment and glass enclosures used in our display. We ask that a clear transport rout to the event area is provided. We also ask that you place the event in a room close to a transport drop off and pick up point. (Unless a large trolley can be provided)
2.3 During events at schools & colleges we insist that a member of staff from the school is in attendance at all times during the event.
2.4 All events and activities involving live animals MUST be held indoors, with access to at least 1 power source and 2 tables. (At least 4 foot long each)
2.5 If the event has been pre arranged to be held outdoors, a power source MUST be in place ready before we arrive, along with at least 2 tables.
2.6 During presentations we limit the number of attendees to 50 per session unless pre-arranged with ourselves.
2.7 Hygiene and safety rules set out at the beginning of each session must be adhered to by all in attendance.
2.8 PLEASE ensure that the event area / room is big enough to safely set up our display, animals, accommodate staff and any visitors that are expected to attend. Small areas / rooms can hold major health & safety issues for both your visitors and our animals / equipment. Please ensure that there is a big enough space to before we attend. Roughly 12ft x 12ft. If your event space is smaller please contact us.
2.9 Exo Teach does not take any responsibility for any injury caused by handling any of our animals. All animals are held at the individuals own risk.
3.0 It is the responsibility of the establishment/client (school, college, youth group) to obtain parental permission for students / children under 18 years old to handle animals.
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that their address, post code, telephone number and email are correct. If they are not, please contact us. It is also the client’s responsibility to ensure that the venue address, if different from the invoice address, is made clear. We do not accept any responsibility for any error in this matter.
