Workshops include hands-on opportunities with a large selection of exotic animals that are normally only seen in zoos. Workshops also provide many opportunities to take photographs, practice teamwork skills and conquer phobias. Workshops can also be tailor-made to correspond with units being covered by the group, such as achieving Scout badges or DOE awards.

What do our Youth Workshop(s) consist of?

 

 

Our youth workshop(s) last for 1-hour and include a:

 

15-Minute Presentation and Demonstration

 

45-Minute Interactive Encounter Workshop and Activities

 

After the presentation has concluded we will then split the group up into smaller groups to take part in encounter workshops. Animals we can bring along include snakes, lizards, toads, tarantulas, scorpions, tortoise, cockroaches and frogs.
